Scenic spot right in the middle of olive tree fields - how cool is that? 🌳

Enjoyed our tastefully decorated room. The view over the hills was splendid. Location: the hotel was close to a valley of farms with olive trees as well as the public areas and restaurant. The staff was extremely helpful and very amiable and provided very good service.

The Hotel was very comfortable the food was excellent and the staff were very helpful. The Restaurant staff were excellent both in being very helpful and the manner in which they waited on the table.
I did think that there ought to be a list somewhere of the Restaurant opening and closing times, and also to explain that on the half board you only get a very limited choice in the Evening, because if we had known that we would not have booked half board for the 1st night, which we subsequently cancelled for the 2nd night, and enjoyed a lovely meal from the a la carte menu.

Everything. Beautiful outdoor courtyard, surrounding gardens and hills and mountains of olive groves. Walking trails!! Quiet, peaceful. Wood burning fireplace. We had coffee and tapas here. Swam each night in the heated indoor pool and used the jacuzzi. Wonderful friendly staff Maria Navas was an outstanding staffer as was Denise. All very hard workers. We got to see the crypt!!!The restaurant had a great menu with many choices. Our waiters Pepe and Manuel were the best, hard workers and bent over backwards to please!!!!!

We had a suite, which was nice, although the bedroom had two small double beds, rather than a king/queen, which was disappointing as it was a romantic stay. The bathroom was gorgeous and the toiletries provided were a lovely touch. There was a smell in the hall, but this did not reach our suite. Breakfast was superb, a huge choice of everything. However dinner was poor, we had chateaubriande, and it was so tough, and arrived with just vegetables. The choice was extremely limited. Hard to find restaurants in the area but perhaps this was becuase we stayed out of season in January. Did not get an opportunity to use the spa but it looked fabulous. Would definitely take a double room rather than a suite next time!

Beautiful hotel, out of the way and bustle of the town. Food can be excellent but sometimes hit and miss, the starters tend to be better than the main courses. We paid an expensive 45 euros each for a gormet de luxe lunch. It started off super, but got gradually poor. The cod smelled off.... If you are going to proclaim it to be a de luxe menu it needs to be. The final main course was very small, puds were good though. Do not accept the first room if unhappy, we were given a twin room and the double room we asked for 106 was much better than 102! Reception staff a bit unfriendly but restaurant staff all very pleasant. The meal and house wine plus 2 coffess 107, so dear, but room and breakfast good value at 35 euros per person per night. The buffet breakfast is very good apart from the cooked side, chef wants shooting who prepared this....go to a Devere Hotel in uk and see what a cooked breakfast really means!
The cheapest toilet paper!! Why???? A great cd playing but not all the time - change it please!! The scrambled eggs and bacon, very poor, scrambled eggs have milk or cream added and these literally were like rubber and the bacon full of fat no meat. The Spa needs a thorough clean and paint, tiles are missing from the pool and black on tiles under the water. This has been the same for over a year, and we live in Antequera often having a spa day there....can we come and do the job for you? It makes me crazy. This is a multi million euro building, and it seems the managers are not addressing these problems. Also, the swimming pool and jacuzzi totally unheated!! On the bright side no one in it!

The peaceful relaxing atmosphere, without the forced "frills" of the usual 5* hotel. A true countryside feeling close to a most interesting historic town.

I have stayed in the guest room with a safe, a minibar and central heating. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic with lots of things to eat and drink.

Great facilities, restaurant, and location.
Try to avoid rooms 1 through 9 - they are down low, don't have internet access.

The hotel had an amazing and fantastic location on the coast. I truly enjoyed the generous-sized room, and the great view to the hills and the olive groves.

location
could be more of a hotel and less of a corporate entertainment centre

Location - right out in the countryside (but see comment below). Very good food in the restaurant - best roast pork we've had outside Castile, delicious olives and oil from the hotel's own olive groves. Sympathetic modernisation of a beautiful old building - the original frescoes on the ground floor are currently being restored.
Location map on Booked.net makes it look as though the hotel is a lot closer to the centre of Antequera than it actually is.
